Job description:

We are looking for Electrical Design Engineers experienced in EPLAN P8 to support international electrical engineering projects for power, grid, industrial, and automation customers.

The opening is suitable for candidates with experience in any one or more of the following domains:

  • AIS / GIS substation engineering

  • LV panels, including MCC, PCC, control panels, relay panels, and distribution boards

  • VFD panels and drive system electrical drawings

 

Electrical schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and BOM preparation

 

The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical design and drafting using EPLAN P8

We are looking for candidates with good technical understanding, strong drawing accuracy, and the ability to support project engineering requirements in a customer-focused environment.

Required Skills :
  • Hands-on working knowledge of EPLAN P8 for electrical design and drafting

  • Understanding of EPLAN project structure, page structure, device tagging, terminal management, cable definition, wire numbering, cross-referencing, and report generation

  • Good understanding of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, interconnection drawings, and panel documentation

  • Basic understanding of electrical control circuits, protection circuits, interlocks, metering circuits, auxiliary supply distribution, and panel wiring

  • Technical exposure in any one or more of the following areas:

  • AIS / GIS: switchgear selection, busbar schemes, protection relays, CT and VT circuits, control and protection schemes, interlocking, metering, and substation panel interfaces

  • LV Panels: MCC, PCC, feeder panels, incomer and outgoing feeders, busbar arrangements, ACB / MCCB / MCB selection, contactors, overload relays, control circuits, metering, and panel internal wiring

  • VFD Panels: incomer feeders, VFD topology, drive input and output circuits, bypass arrangements, braking resistor circuits, line reactors, output chokes, EMC filters, control wiring, feedback signals, and motor interface circuits

  • Awareness of drawing accuracy, tagging consistency, cross-referencing, revision control, and documentation quality

  • Good English communication skills for technical clarification and project communication

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare electrical drawings and diagrams based on customer and project requirements

  • Develop and update schematic drawings, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and related engineering documents

  • Support customer project requirements through accurate and timely drafting work in EPLAN P8

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to understand design inputs and implement revisions in drawings

  • Review engineering inputs, markups, comments, and reference documents before updating drawings

  • Ensure drawing quality, correctness, consistency, and compliance with project requirements

  • Maintain design documentation and support revision control during project execution

  • Support engineering clarifications and customer documentation requirements where needed
