An opportunity is open for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of detailed engineering and product development for industrial equipment. The role is centered on building from proven reference designs and functional specifications, and converting them into precise, production ready engineering deliverables. 

This position suits a professional who is meticulous about engineering integrity, with a strong bias towards manufacturability, completeness, and clarity of documentation. The expectation is to produce fabrication drawings and assemblies that can be released to the shop floor with
confidence and ready for manufacturing. The role also involves closely guiding and coordinating team members, while maintaining effective communication with international clients and stakeholders.

• Strong and hands-on expertise in SolidWorks, with proven ability in handling complex assemblies and producing high quality manufacturing drawings.
   

• Solid understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and design for manufacturability.
   

• Demonstrated ability to produce shop floor ready drawings with high accuracy and minimal dependency.
   

• Practical experience with PDM systems and engineering data management workflows.
   

• Experience working with international clients and distributed teams.
   

• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and disciplined engineering approach.
   

• Effective communication skills, with familiarity in online collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.

• Translate functional specifications and reference designs into detailed mechanical engineering deliverables, including assemblies, fabricated structures, and interfacing components, ensuring readiness for manufacturing
   

• Create and manage 3D CAD models and comprehensive 2D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring tolerancing, fits, weld details, material specifications, and assembly clarity
   

• Use advanced SolidWorks capabilities including configurations, sheet metal, weldments, large assembly management, and design automation to develop, structure, and control accurate BOMs
   

• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of PDM systems, including data structuring, revision control, workflow setup, and supporting transition from ERP driven data practices to structured PDM systems.
   

• Coordinate closely with internal team members, providing technical direction, review, and support to ensure consistent quality of deliverables.
   

• Manage and implement Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes with discipline and traceability.
   

• Interface with international clients to understand requirements, clarify technical aspects, and ensure alignment on deliverables.
